Charlotte Hutchins Roberts, 82, formerly of Portsmouth, died Monday in El Paso, Texas.
Mrs. Roberts, a native of Portsmouth, was the widow of Linwood B. Roberts. She was a life long member of Park View United Methodist Church. She was a teacher at Churchland Elementary School and an alumna of Farmville State Teachers College, now Longwood College.
Survivors include her daughter, Ellen R. Morrison of Navasota, Texas, seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday January 9th at 2:30 p.m. in Park View United Methodist Church by Rev. John A. Bright. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
