Mrs. Marian Saunders Tench, 96, formerly of Virginia Beach, Died Thursday, January 5, 1995 in Maryview Convalescent Home, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mrs. Tench was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and was the widow of the Late Walton B. Tench, Sr. She resided in Virginia Beach and for many years was Manager of The Naviette Shop. Survivors include two sons, Walton B. Tench, Jr of Virginia Beach, Ben S. Tench of Raleigh, N.C. a sister, Mrs. Harriette Bihr of Smithtown, Long Island; three grandchildren, Mrs. Joanne T. Bock of Chesapeake, VA, Ben S. Tench, Jr. of Florida, AND Elizabeth Tench of Raleigh, N.C. Two Great Grandsons, Travis and Tyler Bock of Chesapeake.
A Memorial Service will be held at Park Place Baptist Church, 31st and Colonial Ave, Wednesday January 11 at 2 P.M. by Dr. Paul B. Watlington, Jr. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ones favorite charity.
