A.Q. MCCLAM

A.Q. McClam, 79, of the 1200 block of Reservoir Ave., died Jan. 5, 1995 in Sentara Nursing Center, Virginia Beach.

Mr. McClam was born in Florence, S.C. He retired from Navy Air Reworks Facility after 20 years, was the widower of Rev. Alena H. McClam and the son of the late Lillie C. McClam and Zino McClam.

Survivors include two daughters, Inez Napper and Ophelia McClam, both of Norfolk; a son, Willie O. McClam of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas Woodhouse. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 1043 Tradewind Road, Virginia Beach. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:45 p.m. for services.
