DORIS C. STYRON

Doris C. Styron, 69, a retired storekeeper, died Jan. 6, 1995 in Norfolk.

Mrs. Styron was born in Norfolk. She retired from C&P Telephone Co. after 40 years, was a Baptist and a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America, Tidewater.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Styron; three daughters, Susan Styron of Alpharetta, Ga., Patricia and her husband John Litchfield and Jackie Styron, all of Virginia Beach; a sister, Virginia ``Sugar'' Hicks of Jacksonville, Fla.; a grandchild, Kristina Litchfield of Virginia Beach; and a stepgrandson, Johnny Litchfield of South Dakota. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Carroll and Archie Carroll.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Following the funeral service, friends are invited to the residence of her daughter, Patricia Litchfield, 5424 Brockie St., Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
