I find with amazement that pro-life director Donald Spitz finds the recent shooting at two Massachusetts abortion clinics ``morally justified.''
The scary part is there are thousands of people who agree with him.
How can some people who are right-to-life advocates feel that taking adult lives is justification for forcing their beliefs on the rest of society?
What about the rights of adults to live without fear of maniacs shooting at them simply because their morals are different?
Why must fanatics force their beliefs and themselves into the lives and business of people they don't know?
What will pro-lifers do next if they succeed in terrorizing America into succumbing to their beliefs? Perhaps they will start shooting people in barber shops because they don't like hair styles.
What Donald Spitz and the rest of the pro-lifers need to be reminded of is that some of the things America was founded on are freedom of choice, the right to live without fear and the right to privacy. Terrorism, vandalism and murder are not included in free speech. The majority cannot succumb to these tactics, for it sets a precedent for violent solutions in other issues.
