Kenneth Wayland Andrews, 67, of the 700 block of Inlet Quay, a theater owner, died Jan. 8, 1995, in Leigh Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Andrews was born in Norfolk. He was a member of Raleigh Heights Baptist Church. He owned theaters in the Tidewater area and out of state including the Showcase, Norva, Village Flick, Hilltop, The Movies, Town Art, Memrose, Colley, Newport, Riverview and others out of state. He also managed a Goodwill Store for 10 years. He was an auxiliary deputy sheriff for the City of Chesapeake and an Army veteran of the Korean war.
Survivors include an aunt, Bertha Harden of Chesapeake; and an uncle, Norman O. Dozier of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Henry Napier. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
