BARBARA J. WILLIAMSON

Barbara J. Williamson, 52, of the 2300 block of Charleston Ave., died Jan. 6, 1995, in her residence.

Mrs. Williamson was born in Norfolk County. She was a child care giver at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church, the Senior Choir, the Cheerful Workers Club and the Governing Board of Centennial Child Development Center. She was past matron of Truxton Chapter 63 Order of the Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her father, Andrew Morrisett.

Survivors include two sons, Julian E. Williamson and Jermaine C. Williamson; her mother, Minnie Hainsworth; her stepmother, Evelyn Morrisett; a sister, Carolyn Hurdle; four brothers, James Morrisett, Lorenzo Hainsworth Sr., Melvin H. Hainsworth and Joe Hawk; three grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Coretta Williamson; two uncles; two aunts and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Centennial Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Addison. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The body will be in the church at noon. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there for the processional. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
