Nancy B. Bowers of the 1000 block of Kenton Ave. died Jan. 6, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Mrs. Bowers was born in Como, N.C., and was the widow of Asbery Bowers. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, John Burgess of Newark, N.J.; grandchildren, Juanita Winfield and John Burgess Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; and great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Katrina Winfield of Phoenix.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Gilbert Campbell. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
