You reported that the National Weather Service is planning to develop an extended-time forecasting program requiring additional equipment.
Based on the reliability of recent short-range forecasts, it might be wise for Congress to provide the service with a copy of the Old Farmer's Alamanc, thereby avoiding a costly expenditure.
