BLANCHE S. ALEXANDER

Blanche Sibbald Posthumus Alexander, 83, of the 800 block of Gas Light Lane, a retired communications supervisor, died Jan. 8, 1995.

She was born in Vicksburg, Mich., and was the widow of Donald W. Alexander. She was retired from Pontiac General Hospital and was a member of Bow Creek Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Hartman of Virginia Beach and Martha Roy of El Cajon, Calif.; a son, Donald W. Alexander of California; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. James E. Dorson. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Davis Corner Rescue Squad.
