Joan E. Sawyer, 58, of the 3600 block of Pamlico Circle, died Jan. 9, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Sawyer was born in National Park, N.J., and was a member of Gateway Christian Church. She was employed with Colonial Daycare.
Survivors include her husband, Robert S. Sawyer; a daughter, Bobbie Hudson of Virginia Beach; a son, John Tighe of Deptford, N.J.; three sisters, Elaine Lerwergowski of Nassau, Fla., Alice Dick of Glouster, N.J., and Frank Griscom of Bangor, Maine; two brothers, Don McGee and James McGee, both of Glouster, N.J.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a friend, Sandy Powers of Norfolk.
Services are private. Burial will be in Engleton Cemetery, Clarksboro, N.J. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
