Claire Marion Phields, 68, of the 1400 block of Elm Ave., died Jan. 10, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Phields was born in Chelsea, Mass., She was the widow of Herbert L. Phields.
Survivors include two daughters, Holly Phields Farmer and Julia Phields Powers and a son, William H. Phields, all of Chesapeake; a sister, Betty Turner of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Edward Perkins of Norfolk and Paul Perkins of Lynn, Mass.; and five grandchildren, Nickie Phields, Brent Phields, Jenna Powers and Mark Powers, Jr., all of Chesapeake, and Sheila Phields of Norfolk. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Phields.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor Charles Reep. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at 4003 Cobb Ave., Chesapeake, following the visitation.
