GEORGE C. JULIAN

George C. Julian, 75, died Jan. 11, 1995.

Mr. Julian was born in Cedar Falls, N.C., and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 26 years and was a Realtor for 12 years with Taylor Brothers Builders and a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club. He was an active member and former deacon of Biltmore Baptist Church in Portsmouth.

Mr. Julian is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eleanor Hall Julian; two daughters and their husbands, Sandra J. and Larry N. Barker and Ava J. and Michael E. Dunlow, and one son and his wife, Clark L. and Sally L. Julian, all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Edna Julian of Cedar Falls, N.C. and Velna J. Walker of Winston-Salem, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Holly and Sara Barker, Monte and Blake Dunlow and Alex and Steven Julian, many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

A funeral will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. T.M. Frye. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Music Fund, Biltmore Baptist Church, Portsmouth, Va.
