JOSEPH C. JACKSON SR.

Joseph C. Jackson Sr. of the 800 block of W. 35th St., died Jan. 10, 1995.

He was born in Quitman, Ga., and was a Baptist. He was the widower of Rebecca Jackson.

Survivors include three daughters, Bobbie J. Davis of Norfolk, Gloria Nealy of Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Laverne Hogan of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two sons, Joseph C. Jackson Jr. of Chesapeake and Kenneth Jackson of Virginia Beach; his mother, Daisy Jackson of Chicago; three sisters, Doris Stallings, Maggie Hopkins and Jannie Taylor, all of Chicago; three brothers, Emanuel Jackson Sr. and Benny Jackson Sr., both of Norfolk, and Paul Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Thauddeus Brinkley. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. today and will also be at 830 42nd St., Norfolk.
