HENRY YOUNG

Henry Young, 68, of the 800 block of Madison St., died Jan. 11, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

He was a native of Albany, Ga., and was employed with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a pipe fitter. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Unit (NU)37.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Young; two daughters, Brenda Ann Young and Henrietta Young, both of Portsmouth; three sons, Andrew Young, Steven L. Young and Russell L. Young, all of Portsmouth; his mother, Julia Young of Albany, Ga.; one sister, Ella Mae Young of Albany, Ga.; one brother, Jesse Young of Albany, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three daughters-in-law; one uncle; and nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

The body will be cremated and burial will be at sea wil military honors. Corprew Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
