Stanley Senter, 71, of the 500 block of Suber Drive, a retired self-employed businessman, died Jan. 11, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Senter was born in Norfolk. He was past master of Charles T. Morton Masonic Lodge (NU)232; past master of Victory Daylight Masonic Lodge (NU)1778; past district deputy grand master of 35th District; Scottish Rite Bodies; Khedive Shrine Temple; and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Terrie Herrera of Jacksonville, Fla. and Tracy James of Virginia Beach; a son, Edward Senter of Chesapeake; two sisters, Regina Katz of Virginia Beach and Lorraine Berson of Portsmouth; a brother, Jerry Senter of Randallstown, Md.; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Mormon. Masonic rites will be accorded at 7 p.m. today by the Charles T. Morton Masonic Lodge, in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, where visitation will follow until 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart or Lung associations or to the American Cancer Society.
