Linwood B. Mathias, 58, of the 800 block of Johnstown Rd., died Jan. 11, 1995.
He was a native of North Carolina and was retired from the Ford Motor Company with 21 years of service. He was Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Janie MacPherson Mathias; one daughter, Glenda Lynn Hudgins of Chesapeake; one son, Steven Allen Mathias of Chesapeake; two brothers, Albert Earl Mathias and John W. Mathias, both of Chesapeake; and three grandchildren, Amanda Hudgins, Victoria Hudgins, and Austin Mathias.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Daniel Campbell. The family will be at Hollomon-Brwon Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, today from 4 to 6 p.m. and other times at 521 Woodglen Dr., Chesapeake.
