Maude A. Burnett, 84, of the 5300 block of Leesburg Drive, died Jan. 9 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Burnett was born in New Holland, Ga., and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton, Fla.
Survivors include a daughter, Georgia B. Northam of Virginia Beach; two sons, David Milton Burnett of Kinnelon, N.J., and John Anderson Burnett of Dexter, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. John A. Staples of Spartanburg, S.C.; eight grandchildren, Sibyl Jordan of Atlanta, Meredith Sabota of Virginia Beach, John L. Maps of Norfolk, Victoria Didio of New Jersey, Douglas Burnett of New York, Ann Brown of Florida, Sarah Burnett and John Burnett, both of Michigan; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel, by Dr. Clement A. Sydnor III. Burial will be in Spartanburg, S.C., at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
