TEMPIE M. LEE

Tempie Mae Lee, 75, of the 4400 block of Airline Blvd., died Jan. 11, 1995, in Maryview Hospital.

She was a native of Lenora County, N.C., and was a member and deaconess of Zion Bethel United Church of Christ, Portsmouth. She was also a former member of (NU)2 Choir, (NU)3 Usher Board, and Sunday School.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Lee; two daughters, Deloris Hill of Hampton, and Jacquelyn Frazier of Chesapeake; four sons, William E. Lee Sr. and Timothy Lee, both of Chesapeake, Robert Lee and James E. Lee, both of Portsmouth; one sister, Lydia Miller of Kinston, N.C.; 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, one god-son, one god-daughter, cousins, in-laws and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Zion Bethel United Church of Christ by the Rev. D.A. Peace. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Sunday. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Monday.
