A Norfolk man was arrested early Thursday and charged with the New Year's Day killing of 44-year-old William A. Jones.
The suspect is Nathaniel M. Lindsey, 19.
Police said Jones was found unconscious at a playground in the 1300 block of Johnstons Road. He had suffered injuries to his head and torso. He died a day later at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Police said more arrests are possible.
