I am horrified that a Christian could condone the murder of two women as heroic.
Although a Catholic who is against the practice of abortion, I'm aghast that someone such as activist Donald Spitz could be given attention when he claims indifference to the grief of the victims' families, saying, ``Why is the life of a receptionist more important than 50 innocent babies?'' (news, Jan. 2). Were the slain women criminals?
Where did the notion of Christian benevolence and tolerance disappear to?
As for David Crane, who according to the article also signed a petition supporting violence, he cannot straddle the fence. He, too, must choose to respect an abortionist's right to life.
