ERA E. HOLLAND JR.

Era E. Holland Jr., 43, formerly of the 2100 block of Chesapeake Ave., died Saturday, Jan. 7, 1995, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind., after a short illness.

Born in Portsmouth, Va., he was the son of Lotte P. Holland and the late Era Eugene ``Dutch'' Holland Sr. Mr. Holland was a career project coordinator for various sites throughout the U.S., lately of Indianapolis.

He is survived by his two sons, Sean Era Alan Holland, 15, Justin Davis Holland, 10, and a daughter, Stephanie Elizabeth Holland, 8, all of Atlanta, Ga.; his mother, Lotte P. Holland; sisters, Heidi P. Doane of Chesapeake, Sandra A. Daniels of Illinois, Ingrid Sierra of Sicily; and one brother, Victor Holland of Norfolk, Va. Also surviving are 14 nieces and nephews and one great-nephew.

A memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Mark Delcuze at the Church of the Ascension Episcopal Church at Talbot Hall Road and Newport Ave., Norfolk, at 4 p.m. today. Friends are invited to share their memories. The family wishes to thank special friends for their kindnesses.
