Martha Phelps O'Neal, 67, died Friday, Jan. 13, 1995, at her residence.
Mrs. O'Neal was the former owner and operator of Kitty Hawk Pure Gas Station in Kitty Hawk, N.C., and retired manager of the Bainbridge Kayo Station in South Norfolk. She was a member of the Portlock Senior Citizen Club.
Surivors include two sons, Edward L. O'Neal of Chesapeake and Blane W. O'Neal of Estill, S.C.; two sisters, Marie Keen of California and Vashti Stalvey of Tennessee; a brother, Stanfred Phelps of Simpson, La.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Baum Cemetery, Kitty Hawk. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge. The family will also be at Twiford Funeral Home, Colony Chapel, Manteo, N.C., from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday. Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, is in charge of arrangements.
