Donald Felice Maiorana, 66, died Jan. 12, 1995.
He was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a chief petty officer. He was manager of Abingdon Cleaners at Gloucester Point. He was past president and past secretary of the Abingdon Ruritan Club and past president of the Gloucester High School Band Booster Club. He was also on the Sports Advisory Club at Gloucester High School.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Smith Maiorana; a daughter, Linda Kay Maiorana of Gloucester Point; two sons, Donald Edward Maiorana of Gloucester Point and Donald Seaton Maiorana of Chesapeake; his mother, Mary Manzo of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Rosewell Memorial Garden by the Rev. Zack Finch. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Abingdon Volunteer Rescue Squad, Box 247, Gloucester Point, Va. 23062.
