Richard Edward Sparrow, 28, of the 3900 block of Fourth St. died Wednesday in Norfolk.
Mr. Sparrow was born in Norfolk and was the son of Leona Cartwright Sparrow of Chesapeake and the late Richard Sparrow. He attended Bethel Assembly of God.
Other survivors include two sisters, Ruth C. Elliott of Onancock and Diane S. Little of Chesapeake.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Stanley Turnbull. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
