Elizabeth ``Betsy'' Hemenway, 74 years, of the 2200 block of New York Ave., a homemaker, died Jan. 12, 1995 in Plainfield, N.J.
Mrs. Hemenway was born in Westfield, N.J. She was a member of Fanwood Presbyterian Church, Fanwood, N.J., and Ladies Auxiliary-Elks Lodge No. 1075, Rahway, N.J.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence W. Hemenway Sr.; two daughters, Gayle Scott of Beulah, Colo., and Cheryl S. Hemenway of Westfield, N.J.; a son, Lawrence W. Hemenway, Jr. of Norfolk; a sister, Lila Boyd of Owego, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Carl L. McCulley of Enola, Pa., David R. McCulley of Pueblo, Colo., Gaylene Bliss of Edison, N.J., Tammy Trinker of Chandler, Ariz., Kimberly H. Wagner of Gainesville, Fla., and Kevin A. Hemenway of Norfolk; and three great-grandchildren, Cody McCulley, Amy M. Kidwell and Bria M. Wagner. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary S. Braidwood and William S. Braidwood.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, Rahway, N.J., by the Rev. Josephine Cameron. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
