Mary E. Schaffer, 77, a former resident of Hart, Mich., died Jan. 13, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Schaffer was born in Louisville, Ky. She was a retired District Court clerk in Ocean, Mich., was the widow of John M. Schaffer and a member of Catholic Church of the Ascension and ``The Rainbow.''
Survivors include a son, Dr. John J. Schaffer; three grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Karen L. Schaffer.
A Christian Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Catholic Church of the Ascension by the Rev. James E. Parke. Burial will be in Everest Memorial Park, Cass County, Ind. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
