ANNIE B. THOMPSON

Annie Benton Thompson, 84, of the 500 block of Westmoreland Ave., died Jan. 13, 1995, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Portsmouth and was the widow of LeRoy E. Thompson. She was a member of Cottage Place United Methodist Church, the Lucille Johnson Circle, and the Winton Friendship Class.

Survivors include four nieces, Diane B. Snellinger of Suffolk, Susan B. Yearby of Portsmouth, Cynthia B. Howell of Raleigh, N.C., Eleanor R. Coburn of Portsmouth; and one nephew, Richard Rude of Richmond, Va.

The graveside service will be conducted Monday, Jan.16, 1995, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. James D. Thomas and Paul W. Parker Jr. in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel Sunday from 3-4:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Emily Green Shores, 500 Westmoreland Ave., Portsmouth, Va. 23707.
