Guy Pell Simpson, 80, a retired aircraft mechanic, died Jan. 12, 1995, in Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. Simpson was retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Simpson of Hueytown, Ala., and Kenneth Simpson of Ashville, N.C.; three stepsons, Ronald L. Lowe of Canton, N.C., Neil Daniel Lowe and David L. Lowe, both of Portsmouth; a granddaughter, Miss Michelle Simpson of Virginia Beach; 13 stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1p.m. Tuesday at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Jack Robinson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
