Burnice E. Myatt, 66, of the 4200 block of South St., died Jan. 14, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Myatt was a native of Akron, Ohio, and co-owner of the D. & M. Concrete Construction Inc. He also was a retired superintendent of Asphalt Road & Materials Co. Inc. in Norfolk after 30 years. He was the widower of Marion Pettijohn Myatt and was a Baptist and Navy veteran.
Survivors include four daughters, Judith M. Wills, Claudia M. Thompson and Mary M. Van Schoick of Portsmouth and Rose M. Talbert of Chesapeake; a sister, Barbara J. Walker of Portsmouth; a brother, Bill Myatt of Chesapeake; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. William E. Kube. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday and other times at 712 Berkshire Road, Portsmouth.
