In Saturday's Metro section, a review of a Virginia Symphony
performance ended in mid-sentence. Here is the final paragraph in
its entirety:
Before ``Scheherazade,'' the orchestra paid tribute to the memory
of Luke Douglas Sellers, a former assistant conductor, who died in
October. With the podium empty, they played ``Nimrod'' from Elgar's
``Enigma'' Variations. It was a fitting choice, not only for its
solemnity but also because Elgar's Serenade for Strings afforded
Sellers one of his most impressive local performances.
Beginning Monday, WTKR will run ``The Late, Late Show with Tom
Snyder'' week nights at 2:07 a.m. A column in Friday's Daily Break
had said the CBS affiliate would not air the show.
