Marvin V. Early, 66, of the 3700 block of Virginius Drive, a retired construction inspector, died January 13, 1995, in his residence. Mr. Early was a native of Norfolk, Virginia and a lifelong resident. He retired from Virginia International Terminals after 28 years, was a 32 degree Mason with Norfolk Elizabeth Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Norfolk Khedive Temple and was a Past Director of its Hillbilly Unit. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Spence Early of Virginia Beach; 2 daughters, Elayne Early and Jayne Early both of Virginia Beach; 2 sisters, Helen E. Batten of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Shirley E. Hooper of Norfolk. A chapel service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road by Reverend Charles Joy. Burial will be at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Sunday evening from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Laskin Road will be handling the arrangements.
