Louise Walker Sykes, 76, died Friday, Jan. 13, 1995, in Sarasota, Fla.
She was a native of Suffolk and was formerly employed at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
She is survived by one daughter, Doris S. Horn of Sarasota, Fla.; a foster daughter, Leona McDonald of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Richard L. Wright Jr., Paul S. Horn, Dawn H. Hill and Margaret H. Kinsel; and five great-grandchildren, Ryan Keelan, Matthew Wright, Stefanie Hill, Courtney Hill and Pamela Kinsel.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. William E. Kube. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at 2661 N. Elizabeth Harbor Drive, Chesapeake.
