MILDRED G. PARTRIDGE

Mildred Garner Partridge, 78, of 25362 Drewry Road, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 1995, at Greensville Memorial Hospital, Emporia.

Mrs. Partridge was born in Greensville County and was the daughter of the late James A. and Elizabeth Jones Garner. She was the widow of Allen Murfee Partridge. Mrs. Partridge was a very active member of Hebron Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and WMU and served as a deaconess and as assistant superintendent.

Survivors include one daughter, Sarah P. Savedge and her husband, Buddy, of Wakefield; two sons, William A. Partridge and his wife, Sandra,; and Eddie A. Partridge and his wife, Nancy, all of Drewryville; eight grandchildren, Michele Reedy, Monica Flickinger, Jennifer Partridge, Jessica Partridge, Mark Partridge, Kim Russell, Scooter Russell and Kelly Russell; two great-grandchildren, Nicole Reedy and Hayden Reedy.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1995 at the Hebron Baptist Church by the Rev. Edmund Ellis. Burial will be in Drewryville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Partridge's home and suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, c/o Mrs. Cathy Turner, Drewryville, Va. 23844 or Capron Volunteer Rescue Squad, Capron, Va. 23829. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, has charge of arrangements.
