Dorothy B. Vitz, 71, of the 900 block of First Colonial Road, died Jan. 14, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Vitz was a native of New Salem, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Vitz, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Carlucci of Rockledge, Fla., Paula Barnes of Cocoa, Fla., and Mary Ellen Vitz of Virginia Beach; a son, Thomas Vitz of Virginia Beach; a sister, Norman Jean Miller of Akron, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Erin and Colleen Vitz.
Friends will be received in the Dearth Funeral Home in New Salem, Pa., today. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas R.C. Church in Footedale, Pa., with burial in the church cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
