AIDA V. ZALDIVAR

Aida Veronica Zaldivar, 44, of the 5800 block of Newtown Arch, died Jan. 15, 1995, in her residence.

She was born in New York, N.Y., and was a computer terminal operator for Pitney-Bowes Inc. She was a member of Acsension Catholic Church, active in church bingo and a volunteer with the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include one daughter, Valisa Murray; one son, Weldon Murray; mother, Angelina Hernandez of New York City; one sister, Miriam Hausman of Long Island, N.Y.; two step-sisters, Vilma Brown of Waterford, Conn., and Barbara Oliveras of New York City; two brothers, Oscar Zaldivar of Long Island, N.Y., and David Zaldivar of Virginia Beach; two step-brothers, Mauro Zaldivar of Waterford, Conn., and Victor Oliveras of New York City; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Christian funeral liturgy will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1995, at 7 p.m. by Father James Parke in Ascension Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. Friends may join the family at the church following the funeral liturgy. Memorial donations may be made to Ascension Catholic Church. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge.
