Lency Roberta Morris of the 200 block of Avondale Road died Jan. 15, 1995, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
She was born in Norfolk County, Va., and was the widow of Fleming Morris. She was a member of New Light Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include two daughters, Alberta M. Banks and Ida L. Morris, both of Portsmouth; four sons, Richard L. Morris, Clarence E. Morris, Fleming S. Morris, and James A. Morris, all of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law and nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995, at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Ajack Scott in New Light Baptist Church, Chesapeake. Burial will follow in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at noon Thursday.
