A police SWAT team entered a Chimney Hill home Monday and found a man dead of an apparent suicide, police said.
Police were called to a house in the 3500 block of Campion Ave. at 2:18 p.m. because a distraught man was inside. He was armed with a handgun and threatened to kill himself and harm his wife, police said. The wife left and called police.
About two hours later, police found the 29-year-old man dead from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot. Police did not release his name to protect the family.
