Andrew Foster Galloway, 71, of the 2000 block of Effingham St., died Jan. 16, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mr. Galloway was born in Portsmouth and retired as an instrument mechanic in calibration at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 37 years. He was a member of Hiram Lodge (NU)117, Order of Masons; Our Lady of Victory Alumni Association; and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marie W. Galloway; a sister, Gretchen G. Smith of Beaumont, Texas; a nephew, Edward Lewis of Beaumont; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. C.V. Russell Sr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, with military honors. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
