CHARLIE T. WHITEHEAD

Charlie Thom Whitehead, 53, died in his home in Henderson, Alabama, on Dec. 31, 1994.

Mr. Whitehead was the son of Marguerite Wescott Whitehead of Nassawadox and the late Jesse Lynn Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead was born and raised in Nassawadox and served in the United States Coast Guard for 10 years. He was a farmer and due to illness was retired from the Ansell Company in Troy, Alabama. He was a member of Saint Marks Episcopal Church in Troy, Alabama.

Survivors other than his mother include wife, Sandra Fenn Whitehead; two children, Hope W. Cassidy of Montgomery, Alabama, and Charlie Thom Whitehead Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Jan. 2, 1995, at the Saint Marks Episcopal Church. Interment was in Henderson Memorial Cemetery in Henderson, Alabama. Memorial funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, 1995, at 11 a.m. at the Franktown United Methodist Church in Franktown, Va. The Rev. Brooke Wilson will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the Agricultural Department at Northampton High School at Eastville, Va. 23347. Arrangements by the B.D. Holland Funeral Home, Nassawadox, Va.
