He was the son of Mrs. Jessica Moore of Wakefield. He was a native of Franklinton, N.C. and a retired engineer for Seaboard Coastline, Richmond Division.
Funeral arrangements are private. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Moore Jr., 136 W. Main St., Wakefield, Va. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield is handling arrangements.
