Fred Edward Wright, 59, of the 2700 block of Overbrook Ave., a retired warehouseman, died Jan. 18, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Wright was born in Wise County, Va., and was retired from the Naval Supply Center. He was formerly affiliated with Azalea Little League Association.
Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Charlotte F. Wright; two sons, Ronald W. Wright and Richard W. Wright; and a granddaughter, Elisabeth M. Wright, all of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Levi Willis Jr. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
