PAUL J. PFLUEGER

Paul J. Pflueger, 68, a retired U.S. Navy Captain, died Jan. 18, 1995.

He was a native of Brandywine Summit, Penn., and had worked for the Supply Corp. of the Navy. He had also retired from the City of Norfolk's Finance Department. He was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel, and was a Lay Eucharistic Minister. He was a Navy veteran of Korea and Vietnam, volunteer for the A.A.R.P. Medicare and Tax Assistant Programs, and the Retired Officers Association.

He earned his master's degree from the University of Michigan and George Washington University and was a graduate of Penn State University.

Survivors include his wife, Isabel L. Pflueger; two daughters, Kathleen Moyer of Farmington, Penn., and Amy Trumpoldt of Snow Hill, Md.; two sons, Steven Pflueger of Virginia Beach, and Scott Pflueger of Arlington, Va.; one brother, Robert Pflueger of Virginia Beach; and six grandchildren.

The funeral mass will be conducted at 2 p.m Friday in Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel by Fr. James F. Mennis. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, 1 p.m. Monday. Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling the arrangements. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to United Parkinson Foundation, 833 West Washington Blvd., Chicago, Ill. 60607.
