Ollie M. Platt Jones, 56, of the 100 block of Palm Beach Place, died Jan. 15, 1995.
She was born in Hope County, N.C. She was a member of Miracles of Faith Church of God in Christ, Chesapeake, and was Church Mother.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Platt of South Carolina and Leslie Holland of Virginia Beach; two sons, Harry Platt and William Platt, both of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Doretha Diggs, Lubertha Platt and Juanita White, all of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Clinton Platt of New Jersey and Harry Platt of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Flames of Fire Church of God in Christ, 432 N. Witchduck Road, by Elder James C. Little. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park. The family will be at 3325 Shasta Court, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is in charge.
