Bill Rea of the Elizabeth II State Historic Site supervises the

raising of a 14-foot-tall replacement rudder for the Elizabeth II

Wednesday. The work was done during the ship's annual overhaul at

the N.C. Ferry Maintenance Facility at Mans Harbor.
