PHYLLIS M. NOTTINGHAM

Phyllis Mays Nottingham, 94, a retired school teacher, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995, at the Hermitage in Richmond.

Mrs. Nottingham was born in Blacksburg, S.C., and reared in Portsmouth. She was the daughter of the late Thomas V. and Cora Mays and was the wife of the late Maurice Nottingham. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Exmore.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis N. Tuck of Columbia, S.C.; a son, Dr. Maurice Nottingham Jr. of Richmond; a sister, Mable M. Scott of Portsmouth; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Belle Haven Cemetery by the Rev. James H. Perry. Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, Exmore, Va. 23350.
