Darryl A. Joe, 34, of the 1000 block of Bay St., died Jan. 16, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
He was a native of Portsmouth and attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church. He was a 1979 graduate of I.C. Norcom High School. He is the son of William L. Joe.
He is survived by two sons, Steven Wright and Darryl Ferguson, both of Portsmouth; his parents, Bernadette E. Mizell and Joseph Mizell; three sisters, Kim Joe and Tracy Berry, both of Portsmouth, and Carmen Mizell of Cleveland, Ohio; and one brother, Steven Edwards of Portsmouth; eight aunts, one uncle, six nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. William S. Hampton. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be at noon today at Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Saturday.
