OPHELIA B. KING

Ophelia Brinkley King, 95, of the 200 block of W. Constance Road, a homemaker, died Jan. 18, 1995, in a nursing home.

Mrs. King was born in Nansemond County and was the widow of John Walter King. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church, Women's Fellowship, Altar Guild, for many years, and the West Memorial Bible Class.

Survivors include a daughter, Florence K. Lane of Waverly; a son, John E. King of Edenton, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Ellen J. King, W. Michael Lane and John W. King, all of Suffolk, and John R. Lane of Waverly.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hill Funeral Home by Dr. Robert B. Marr. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home and other times at 332 Grayden Circle in Waverly, the home of Florence K. Lane.
