The harvest of striped bass of at least 28 inches with commercial gear in the North Carolina waters of the Atlantic will open at sunrise Monday.
The season will continue until midnight March 31, or until 24,000 pounds have been caught.
The Division of Marine Fisheries said no more than five stripers a day can be taken by an individual or by a fishing operation. by CNB
