Herbert Clayborne Griffin Jr., 86, of Barco, died Jan. 18, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Griffin was a native of South Norfolk, Va. He was a member of Disabled Veterans and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Celia C. Griffin; a daughter, Louise Sue Kittle of Chesapeake; two sons, Herbert C. Griffin III of Norfolk, Edwin Lee Griffin of Chesapeake; five sisters; a brother; three grandsons; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at the residence of Mrs. Sue Kittle, 1310 Hull St., Chesapeake, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
